Description
Our client is one of Europe leading and largest fitness equipment suppliers with warehouses in the UK, Poland and Germany. A unique opportunity has arisen and they are looking to recruit a business development manager to work in a team of 3 covering business development accross the UK. The main place of work will be the office in Seust. However you will also be required to go to meetings throughout the Germany . A car pool is available to attend meetings.
Responsibilities:
·To ensure that the Business Development Manager (BDM) KPI’s are the primary responsibility and focus on a day to day basis.
·To maintain and carry out the field sales management function using current systems ensuring that sales/order details are complete, clearly understood and entered accurately.
·Develop and maintain relevant contacts in accounts, particularly in the Public Sector, to establish and develop long-term relationships and increase sales opportunities.
·Ensure that the database of customers and their contact details are maintained and updated on a timely basis
·To ensure that sales/orders are processed and prioritized in a timely manner to ensure that deliveries are planned to meet the required delivery date.
·Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of sales objectives and developments in relation to accounts
Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience dealing with customers face to face
Minimum of 2 years telephone sales (demonstrating evidence of telephone training).
Experience with dealing with Local Authorities / Corporate customers
Ability to speak and write fluent German
Knowledge of the Fitness / Leisure Industry
